What a wellness visit is
A wellness visit is a 30-minute, focused PT session for one specific treatment — dry needling, cupping, manual therapy, or ASTYM. It is not a full evaluation, and it is not for new patients.
These visits work best for patients who have already done the longer evaluation and treatment work with Dr. Nicole, who know which treatments their body responds to, and who want a focused session without scheduling a full hour.
What can be included
- Dry needling — referral required per Georgia state law
- Cupping therapy for soft tissue restrictions
- Manual therapy and joint mobilization
- ASTYM soft tissue treatment
- Targeted hands-on work for one specific area or symptom
Who this is for
- Established patients who want a maintenance session between full visits
- Athletes who use specific tools (dry needling, cupping) regularly during training cycles
- Patients with chronic conditions who benefit from periodic targeted work
- Anyone whose primary need is one specific treatment, not a full evaluation
Who this is NOT for
- New patients. If you've never seen Dr. Nicole, book a regular one-hour visit first ($125). The full evaluation is what makes targeted treatment effective later.
- Patients with new or shifting symptoms. If something has changed significantly or it has been a long time since your last visit, a full evaluation is the right starting point.
- Patients without a dry needling referral who want a dry-needling-focused wellness visit. Get the referral first, then book.

Common questions
- Are wellness visits for new patients?
- No. Wellness visits are designed for patients who have already established care with Dr. Nicole. New patients need a full one-hour evaluation first ($125) so the right plan can be built. After that, wellness visits become available for maintenance and targeted treatment.
- How often can I book a wellness visit?
- As often as your body benefits. Some patients book one weekly during heavy training cycles. Others come in once a month for maintenance. There is no minimum or maximum — the schedule is built around what works for you.
- What's included in a 30-minute wellness visit?
- One specific treatment — dry needling, cupping, manual therapy, ASTYM, or focused hands-on work for a particular area. The visit is shorter than a regular session because it is targeted rather than comprehensive.
- Do I still need a referral for dry needling at a wellness visit?
- Yes. The Georgia state law referral requirement applies whether dry needling is part of a regular visit or a standalone wellness session.
- What if my situation has changed and I need a full evaluation again?
- Just book a regular one-hour visit instead. If your symptoms have shifted significantly or it has been a long time since your last visit, a new evaluation is the right starting point.
